08 Animus, an old vine Pinot Noir, dominantly of Pommard origin. Farmed organically, hand harvested and 75% wild fermented then raised in 30% new French oak. The growing season was kind and warm, the vineyard responded extremely well to our organic management practices including total ploughing and seeding of diverse cover-crops. This wine showed the warmth of the season with generous fruit ripeness and plenty of ripe seed spice.
